In cold weather the children must wear layerd thermal clothing, warm jackets, warm hats, extra thick socks and extra thick water proof gloves.

Footwear must be non slip, waterproof, lightweight  and warm. There are some good snow boots out there.

Wellies are not good in cold weather as they are not warm and very slippery. Wellies can be worn when not cold.

Waterproof trousers and jackets or waterproof overalls are needed as a top layer.

In warm weather the children must wear a lightweight long sleeve top and a lightweight pair of trousers to avoid insect bites and scratches.

Sun hats and sun cream for the sunny days. Insect repellent.

Lightweight, non slip, waterproof walking boots are necessary.

A pair of wellies should be provided for the very wet days when walking in puddles and mud  is more than likely.

Waterproof trousers and jackets are needed as a top layer.

A back pack with spare clothing needs to be provided, nappies, nappy wipes and sacks if not toilet trained.

You may have heard the saying 'there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing' and this has proven to be so true.

In order for the children to enjoy their time outdoors, they need to be prepared by wearing the right clothing and footwear.
